When using Flat Webbing Slings for lifting sharp-edged objects, special considerations are necessary to ensure safety and prevent damage to the sling. 
Select Sling with Cut-Resistant Material:
Choose a Flat Webbing Sling made from cut-resistant materials designed to withstand abrasion and cutting. High-performance materials like kevlar or other reinforced fibers are often suitable for lifting sharp-edged loads.
Inspect for Damage Before Use:
